Falling in love

Love is not what happens when four eyes for the first time meet,
or when two charismatic persons to each other gleefully greet.
Love is the vibration from two resonating minds,
ready to live forever leaving behind their hinds.

Love is not a burden to be borne,
or the prize for winning the royal throne.
Love is the confluence of two flawed people,
each fulfilling the other, like Buddha under The Peepal.

Love is not an ornament to flaunt around,
or a secret each wanting to hush it without a sound.
Love is the dance of two various lives,
tied together like bees and their hives.

Love is not a condiment you chew when bored,
or a drug to intoxicate and get you floored.
Love is an elixir,
it works magic by rendering you in her.

Love is not an excuse to while away people and time,
or an umbrella to perpetrate petty amorous crime.
Love isn’t a destination but an everlasting trip,
and the right company makes it pure like after the holy dip.

A fortunate mass of hydrogen cloud conscious enough to be contemplating that very fact.
